Job summary

Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, CA, is seeking a Part-Time F&B Storeroom and Receiving Attendant to ensure deliveries meet specifications and are properly documented. You will inspect items against orders, stage arrivals, and direct the flow of stock to the appropriate outlets.

The role requires flexibility to work AM/PM shifts, weekend and holiday coverage, and solid customer service, basic math, and computer skills.

Qualifications

> Must be flexible and available to work AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays (25-30 hours/week).
> Hotel experience preferred
> Excellent customer service and computer skills.
> Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic math is required.

Responsibilities

Check shipment by comparing it with Daily Order Sheet and invoice to ensure that what we are receiving is what was ordered (quantity, price, quality state, size, count, weight tolerance and acceptable expiration date).
Submit daily a progress report to Purchasing for outstanding deliveries.
Direct the traffic of all incoming items until they have been properly dated, priced, labeled or tagged.
Labels all incoming bread and bakery deliveries as to outlet or banquet function.
Conduct random spot-checks of all perishable items for proper storing and packaging to guard against quality loss due to over-exposure to storage temperatures, improper rotation, etc.
Assists and directs inventory documentaries along with the Storeroom Manager as necessary.
Assists Storeroom Clerks in filling requisitions and sanitation maintenance daily.
Assist in conducting End-Of-Month Physical Inventory.
