Job summary

White Lodging in Austin, TX seeks a Purchasing & Receiving Lead to supervise F&B buying, receiving, and storage, driving accuracy and efficiency across all related processes. You will coordinate with accounting for month-end, maintain Avendra compliance, and lead system training for the team.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year in purchasing/receiving and familiarity with hotel/restaurant operations. This role emphasizes inventory integrity, cost control, and vendor collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food Handler Certification preferred.
• 1+ years in purchasing/receiving are assets.
• Supervisory experience is an asset.
• Working knowledge of hotel/restaurant industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise purchasing, receiving, and storage for all F&B items.
• Maintain 95% compliance with Avendra program.
• Assist with month-end inventories and data entry.
• Coordinate with Accounting to ensure smooth month-end processes.
• Lead Clearsky usage and training for staff.
• Ensure use of approved ordering/receiving tools (Clearsky, Report Safe, Ascend).
• Record requests and billing across departments; manage PARs.
• Develop process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
