Job summary

White Lodging at JW Marriott Indianapolis seeks a Purchasing and Receiving supervisor to support the overall operations of the purchasing and receiving areas. You will streamline duties for ordering, procurement, planning, and quality assurance of all F&B needs in the hotel.

You will manage inventory, storage, and reconciliation to minimize shrinkage and loss. Responsibilities include supervising purchasing/receiving, ensuring 95% Avendra compliance, and leading Clearsky day-to-day operations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; College degree preferred.
• Food Handler Certification.
• 1+ years purchasing/receiving experience (asset).
• Supervisory experience (asset).
• Working knowledge of hotel/restaurant industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all purchasing, receiving, and storage functions for all Food and beverage products.
• Maintain a 95% compliance with the Avendra program.
• Assist with month end inventories and accurate data recording.
• Communicate clearly with the Accounting team to ensure smooth month end processes.
• Lead training and use of Clearsky for day to day operations.
• Ensure proper use of ordering tools and platforms (Clearsky, Report Safe, Ascend).
• Record and reconcile purchases for billing purposes across departments.
• Review PARs to ensure accuracy for hotel needs.
