Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Purchasing/Receiving Supervisor to assist the Executive Chef with procurement and to supervise a receiving team for food, beverage, and related items at our Austin-area hotel.

The role requires ensuring accurate receiving, inventory control, and adherence to safety and stock procedures, with emphasis on efficiency and cost control in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food Handler Certification required/preferred.
• 2 years purchasing/receiving experience in hotel/food & beverage is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all receiving and storage functions.
• Inspect incoming items against order/specifications for accuracy and discrepancies.
• Record requisitions and assist with billing for hotel departments.
• Determine PAR levels to ensure supply availability for F&B operations.
• Oversee safe transportation and storage of items within the hotel.
• Maintain organized and clean storage areas and proper labeling.
