Job summary

The Langham Hospitality Group is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the effective management of F&B operations at the Pasadena property. You will supervise staff, monitor food quality, control costs, and ensure inventory is well managed.

Responsibilities include daily oversight of the Lobby Lounge and Private Kitchen, weekly scheduling, event coordination with Sales, and adherence to health guidelines and brand standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 1–3 years experience as a manager or assistant manager of restaurant operations.
• CPR Certification and/or First Aid Training preferred.
• Food Handler’s Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in managing day-to-day operations of the Lobby Lounge and Private Kitchen as primary focus.
• Oversees additional department based on business and coverage needs.
• Assists in ordering F&B supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms.
• Supervises daily F&B shift operation and ensures compliance with policies and standards.
• Maintains monthly self-inspection program and health guidelines.
• Oversees staff levels to meet guest service and financial objectives.
• Weekly forecasting and scheduling based on business needs.
• Coordinates with Sales and Conference Service for events and closures.
• Reviews and updates KPIs and goal progress.
• Manages guest relations and resolves issues promptly.
