Job summary

The Gunter Hotel San Antonio is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to lead the dining and events teams in a dynamic hotel setting. You will drive guest satisfaction, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in hospitality.
• Proficient in Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing; strong financial and arithmetic skills.
• Supervisory experience preferred, with excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to stay composed and objective under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Captain of Hospitality: lead guest experience from lounge to banquet and coach the team for smooth shifts.
• Operations & Compliance Guru: uphold grooming, safety, and certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, First Aid.
• Admin Ace: manage payroll, scheduling, and reports, track staff hours and productivity.
• Quality & Promotions Pro: ensure food presentation, plan promotions, oversee inventory and beverage purchasing.
• Communication & Problem-Solving Hero: address guest requests or concerns promptly and ensure satisfaction.
• General Go-Getter: analyze reports, attend meetings, and contribute wherever needed.
