Overview

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and directing all aspects of F&B outlet operations to ensure profitability, high-quality products, and service levels. The role involves marketing ideas to promote business, reducing employee turnover, maintaining revenue and payroll budgets, and meeting productivity targets while ensuring consistent quality.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the outlet.
  • Supervise outlet personnel.
  • Respond promptly to guest complaints.
  • Coordinate with other F&B managers and communicate issues.
  • Keep superiors informed of problems or matters requiring attention.
  • Assist in loss prevention efforts.
  • Prepare and submit reports timely, including wage progress, payroll, revenue, employee schedules, and quarterly action plans.
  • Monitor service quality.
  • Assist in menu planning and preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with liquor laws, health, and sanitation regulations.
  • Follow SOPs and requisition procedures.
  • Be visible on the floor and assist staff during meal periods.
  • Conduct staff performance reviews and training.
  • Participate in departmental and hotel training programs.
  • Interview candidates and follow hiring standards.
  • Complete tip reporting.
  • Implement and monitor corporate promotions, including buffet and meal concepts.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
