Job summary

Montage Big Sky is seeking an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to lead a premium dining team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee service standards, supervise opening/closing duties, and collaborate with management to train staff and maintain high safety and sanitation practices.

The role emphasizes effective communication, problem solving, and a passion for delivering memorable experiences for guests at a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Progressive food and beverage experience.
• Effective supervisory and communication skills.
• Well organized and demonstrated strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures.
• Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Embrace Technology – continually learn, adapt and master new operating system.
• Knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Luxury hotel experience, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with cuisine and service established for concept.
• Circulate on the outlet floor to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle guests' complaints and create WOW moments.
• Supervise setup and maintain dining room standards.
• Assist with scheduling attendants and greeters.
• Conduct daily pre-meal meetings and ongoing training.
