Job summary

Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel in Oak Grove, KY is seeking an F&B Lead to ensure guests have a memorable experience in our Food Outlets and Beverage Bars. The Lead will help staff readiness and serve as main trainer within the area.

You will supervise a team (servers, bar backs, bartenders, cashiers), delegate duties, ensure staffing and cleanliness, uphold safety and responsible alcohol service, and assist with daily tasks and shift management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience in a food and beverage role is preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise team members in food or beverage roles.
• Delegate duties and assign responsibilities to staff.
• Ensure proper staffing and step in across areas as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness standards and safety.
• Ensure staff perform duties as instructed.
• Uphold safety and security of employees and guests.
• Perform responsible alcohol service training.
• Train other team members in assigned areas.
• Assist with daily tasks and shift management.
• Act as department champion and represent services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
