Job summary

Jobtailor in Minneapolis is seeking an Inventory and Replenishment Specialist to help ensure inventory availability and optimize replenishment processes across the Food & Beverage line. You will analyze data, develop actionable plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic inventory decisions.

Based in a fast-paced retail environment, you will drive operational excellence by identifying replenishment issues, building inventory strategies, and ensuring timely execution

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Target Supply Chain or Merchandising roles.
• Food & Beverage IM experience, and working understanding of our Perishable Food Supply Chain.
• Working understanding of Target Inventory Management replenishment systems.
• Excellent analytical ability.
• Strong project management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Curiosity with a desire to learn and innovate.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently to prioritize and take action.
• Flexibility & resiliency; comfortable working in 'grey areas' that are constantly changing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a focus on purchasability and inventory availability
• Drive operational excellence by proactively identifying replenishment issues
• Work with leaders across the F&B PIM Organization to bring solutions to top priority issues
• Consult with core Inventory Management (IM) teams to provide guidance
• Build strategies for inventory flow and positioning amongst other projects
• Leverage strong Inventory Management system knowledge to develop and tailor inventory strategies
