Job summary

TPG Hotels and Resorts in Providence, RI seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Director to lead all facets of hotel F&B operations, including restaurants, banquets and room service. You will manage staff, budgets, menus and service standards to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.

Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to brand standards, training, safety compliance, cost control, and collaboration with sales and other departments to drive profitability in a fast-paced hospitality

Qualifications

High school education plus a degree in culinary arts, hotel/restaurant management or related major strongly preferred.
Five or more years of related experience.
SERV Safe and alcohol awareness certification and familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred.

Responsibilities

Guest satisfaction: direct and ensure F&B standards and procedures are followed and budgets managed.
Human Resources: direct recruiting, training and retention of F&B staff.
Sales/Profitability: develop and manage the F&B budget and revenue objectives.
Life Safety/Risk Management: ensure safety, sanitation and compliance with regulations.
Asset Management: monitor assets, cash handling and maintenance coordination.
Leadership: direct all facets of F&B services and maintain brand standards.
Communication: maintain professional, service-oriented guest and staff interactions.
Administration: prepare reports and assist with annual budgeting.
