Job summary

Angler's Hotel – Miami Beach is seeking a dependable Cook to join our culinary team, supporting breakfast service, pool dining, Habana Restaurant, and special events with fresh, high-quality meals and strict food-safety standards.

You will prepare menu items, follow recipes, maintain clean stations, assist with deliveries, and work collaboratively with F&B to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a commercial kitchen or hotel kitchen.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling of ingredients.
• Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain quality and consistency.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Basic English communication; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards.
• Assist with food preparation for breakfast, pool service, Habana Restaurant, and special events.
• Ensure meals are prepared, plated, and served in a timely manner.
• Maintain clean and organized kitchen workstations, equipment, and food preparation areas.
• Properly store, label, and rotate food products following food safety guidelines.
• Monitor food quality and communicate inventory needs to management.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Support kitchen opening, closing, and daily cleaning procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary and Food & Beverage teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
