Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Construction Project Manager to oversee complex projects in the food manufacturing sector from Carlisle, PA. The role emphasizes contracting strategy, RFP development, bid evaluation, and GMP negotiations, with extensive client and schedule oversight.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in construction management, engineering or related fields, plus proficiency with Primavera or Procore and robust risk analysis capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in construction project management.
• Experience in food and beverage construction, cheese or dairy preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and processes.
• Familiarity with Primavera or Procore.
• Excellent contract management and risk analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop contracting strategies aligned with project goals.
• Develop RFPs, facilitate bidding, evaluate bids, and award contracts.
• Review client contracts, advise on risks, and support GMP negotiations.
• Support owner/engineer/contractor negotiations.
• Coordinate preliminary engineering services across project stages.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact for engineering services.
• Assist with bidding and selection for engineering, CM, design-build, and multi-prime services.
• Oversee master project schedules and reporting KPIs.
