Overview

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to our restaurant standards, anticipating and addressing service needs.
• Serve food and beverage orders to all guests.
• Complete designated cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
• Knowledgeable in the Step of Service.
• Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
• Complete closing duties.
• Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of the service area and restaurant.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Check assigned station prior to opening for cleanliness of tables and chairs, proper setup of tabletop.
• Have necessary equipment to work with: tray, pen, corkscrew, etc.
• Knowledgeable of all menu items, their garnishes, contents, and preparation methods.
• Prepared to answer guest questions about the menu in a direct, concise way.

• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the supervisor.
• Complete safety training and certifications.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, supporting the team to reach common goals.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Hospitality-oriented
• Previous experience as an attendant or in a similar role in a restaurant or bar within hospitality.
• Able to handle difficult situations effectively.
• Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fully bilingual (Spanish and English).
