Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality is seeking a friendly F&B Attendant to provide efficient service for food and beverage items at our Food Bazaar. This role includes clearing and re-setting tables and assisting guests throughout their dining experience.

You will greet guests professionally, educate them on gourmet stations, and ensure table readiness with attention to allergies and dietary needs. Rigid adherence to safety and sanitation standards is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and pass a guest service audition.
• Able to lift and carry 40 pounds.
• Must possess basic English communication skills.
• Must complete BASSET and ServeSafe sanitation training.
• Willing to work odd or irregular hours and travel for training.
• Must maintain an Occupational License under the Illinois Gaming Act.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Provide friendly and efficient service of food and beverages.
• Clear and re-set tables and keep stations stocked.
• Educate guests on gourmet stations and menu items.
• Monitor allergies and notify chefs as needed.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Reports to workstation as scheduled in proper uniform and ready to work
• Completes all side-work as directed by supervisor
• Keeps workstation and F&B Attendant area neat, clean, and free of safety hazards
• Keeps service stations stocked with needed supplies, glassware, ice, and condiments
• Greets guests in a friendly professional manner
• Educate guests on all gourmet stations and suggest some of your favorites.
• Be mindful of all allergies and notify chefs immediately.
• Check back with guest to ensure they are enjoying their meal, and determine if they have any other needs
• Pre-busses all tables, and takes all used dishes to the dish room
• Clears tables upon guest departure and resets according to standards in a timely manner
• Other duties & responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and complete a GED program within six (6) months from the start date as a condition of continued employment
• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
• Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
• Ability to adequately and successfully perform all aspects of this position
• Willingness and ability to lift and carry 40 pounds
• Must possess a high level of maturity, dependability, and punctuality
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, in English, effectively both verbally and in writing
• Must successfully pass a job interview, including a guest service audition
• Must complete BASSET training
• Must complete ServeSafe Sanitation training
• Willing to work odd and irregular hours
• Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
• Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position

Base Pay

• Compensation:$15.00–$18.75 per hour, with starting pay based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and skills.
