Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation in San Diego is seeking a Food and Beverage Attendant to ensure high-quality buffet service and guest interaction across hotel dining areas. You will set up and replenish food displays, maintain cleanliness, and support hotel meetings and events with professional service.

The role requires English fluency, a willingness to obtain ServSafe and possibly TIPS certification, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Some previous food and beverage experience preferred.
• Previous background from the extended stay industry preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is required; other languages beneficial.
• Regular reading, writing and math abilities are preferred.
• Will be required to obtain ServSafe certification.
• May be required to obtain a TIPS certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta service in all guest interactions according to G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Set up, service, and break down buffet areas and related supplies.
• Monitor supplies and replenish buffet items as needed.
• Maintain clean, neat, and organized work and buffet areas.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down meeting rooms and hotel events.
• Adhere to health, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
