Palm Aire Country Club is seeking a Food & Beverage Captain to lead the team, set the tone for each shift, and ensure exceptional service. You will preside over service, coordinate dining and events, and still wait tables as needed while earning $25.00 per hour with additional tips potential.
This hands-on leadership role emphasizes teamwork, hospitality excellence, and guest satisfaction, with an emphasis on Wednesdays and Sundays, plus evenings and weekends as required.
Description
Where Service Meets Style
Palm Aire Country Club isn’t your typical restaurant and that’s exactly the point.
We’re a private, member-owned country club on the Manatee/Sarasota county line where hospitality is personal. Our members are familiar faces, our team knows what great service looks like and dining is about creating an experience, not flipping tables as fast as possible.
We’re looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Assistant Manager (Captain) who leads by example and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. This is a hands on leadership role. You’ll lead the floor, supervise and support the service team, coordinate dining and events and wait tables as part of your role. In addition to your $25.00 hourly rate, you’ll have the opportunity to earn additional tips when serving.
As our Food & Beverage Captain, you’ll help set the tone for each shift. You’ll lead preservice meetings, oversee dining and event setup, supervise the service team, monitor the flow and timing of service and work closely with the culinary team to keep everything running smoothly. You’ll also be a visible presence for our members, handling questions, special requests and concerns with professionalism and good judgment.
We’re looking for someone who understands that leadership in hospitality isn’t about standing on the sidelines giving instructions. It’s noticing when a server needs help, catching a detail before a member has to ask and making sure the team has what they need to succeed.
Availability on Wednesdays and Sundays is required. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, special events and occasional Mondays is also necessary.
Palm Aire is a place where tradition still matters, but we’re always looking for ways to make the member and employee experience better. We work hard, we have fun and we take pride in doing things well.
If you’re an experienced hospitality professional who is ready for the next step, wants to lead a great team and likes the idea of $25 an hour without the traditional restaurant late nights, we’d love to meet you.
At Palm Aire, great service starts with great people. Come lead the team that makes it happen.
