Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead the F-35 AV Development weapons program, directing cost, schedule and technical delivery across development and integration efforts. You will drive program plans, manage risk, and interface with customer counterparts to ensure contractual objectives are met while coordinating across engineering, manufacturing and program teams.

Standard Job Description

Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

Short Description
  • The F-35 Air Vehicle Development (AVD) Weapons Program Manager is responsible for managing cost, schedule, and technical delivery of weapons adapter development and weapons integration efforts, on the F-35 platform.

  • Ensure establishment of milestones, proactively manage master schedules, utilize active risk management practices to identify future potential problems and develop solutions
  • Communicate program status, challenges, successes, and help needed across the enterprise and up through executive leadership, both internal and external.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher with related experience
  • Related PM experience (gained through PM roles, functional PM, CAM, project manager, IPT lead, etc.)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $182500.00 - $338900.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
