Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Yuma, AZ is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to oversee the Interim Contractor Support team for F-35B aircraft maintenance at MCAS Yuma. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections to ensure compliance with government and company processes, and review work against drawings and data.

The role requires root-cause analysis, CAPA investigations, and the ability to revise interim operating instructions. Travel and weekends may be required to support operations.

Qualifications

• 5 years of recent military aircraft maintenance experience.
• USMC/USN Level 4 MATMEP or ASM T&R QA 3000 level rating (or equivalent) or USAF 5 level+.
• Demonstrated experience in airworthiness inspections, final inspections or safety of flight inspections.

Responsibilities

• Approve or reject work performed by team members.
• Perform inspections for scheduled/unscheduled maintenance.
• Evaluate process compliance, write/review CAPA reports, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Identify non-conformities related to Safety-of-Flight and audits.
• Conduct incident/mishap investigations and prepare quality documentation.
