Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal/Sr Principal Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives for the F-35 Production OU, based on site in Redondo Beach, CA with weekly travel to Palmdale and a strong emphasis on strategy and execution.

You will coordinate senior executives, customers, and suppliers, drive program reviews and performance metrics, and support chief of staff duties as needed. A background in aerospace and strong MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required with 5 years of experience; advanced degrees reduce required years.
• Experience in Project Management, Business Strategy, Finance, Proposals and/or Capture Efforts, Resource Planning, Accounting, Program Management, Program Scheduling, Program Cost Analysis, Subcontracts Administration, Procurement, Business Management, or Contracts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, and delivery across multiple functional areas to align with program goals and business strategies.
• Act as the primary contact for assigned initiatives, engaging with senior executives, customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Support chief of staff duties and coordination of strategic initiatives for executive leaders.
• Coordinate executive reviews (e.g., Monthly Program Manager's Meeting) including scheduling and messaging.
