Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Smith, AR seeks an F-35 Aircraft Mechanic to deliver nose-to-tail maintenance, launch and recovery support, and on-the-job training to a diverse team. The role supports mission readiness and requires adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include detailed maintenance, inspections, and documentation in ALIS, with potential for shift work and extended hours. Strong emphasis on teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum of 2 years hands-on working experience USAF, Navy, United States Marine Corps, or equivalent Aircraft maintenance or A&P certification.
• Knowledge of Safety, Tool Control, FOD, Supply, Hazardous Material, Quality, and Security programs
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Conduct launch and recovery operations and full-spectrum maintenance to keep the F-35 fleet operationally ready.
• Perform inspections, servicing, and repairs of aircraft systems in strict compliance with directives.
• Execute field-level modifications and manage Time Compliance Technical Data (TCTD) maintenance requirements.
• Provide on-the-job training to new team members, contractors, and international partners.
• Maintain accurate aircraft records in ALIS and communicate status to the production team.
• Uphold stringent housekeeping and safety standards, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.
