Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation in Fort Smith, AR, is seeking an experienced F-35 Aircraft Mechanic to join the Aircraft Maintenance Team. You will perform nose-to-tail maintenance, launch and recovery support, and on-the-job training to keep the F-35 fleet mission ready and safe.

The role requires hands-on aircraft maintenance experience, the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance, and travel when needed.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum of 2 years hands-on working experience USAF, Navy, United States Marine Corps, or equivalent Aircraft maintenance or A&P certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct launch and recovery operations and full-spectrum maintenance to keep the F-35 fleet operationally ready.
• Perform inspections, servicing, and repairs of aircraft systems in strict compliance with directives.
• Execute field-level modifications and manage Time Compliance Technical Data (TCTD) maintenance requirements.
• Provide on-the-job training to new team members, contractors, and international partners.
• Maintain accurate aircraft records in ALIS and communicate status to the production team.
• Uphold stringent housekeeping and safety standards, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.
