Job summary

Boeing in Alaska is seeking an Experienced F-22 Aircraft Mechanic at JBER, AK, to perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on F-22 systems. You’ll use T.O.s, blueprints, and manuals to work on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and engine subsystems.

Responsibilities include maintaining coatings, components and flight systems, interpreting manuals, and troubleshooting with system theory while supporting a first-shift schedule and COI, plus relocation if eligible.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with F-22 Low Observable Coatings.
• Experience with Low observable processes.
• Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical troubleshooting, repair procedures and part replacement.
• Familiar with aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators and micrometers.
• Willing to work variable shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, repairs, and modifies aircraft coating and equipment of varying difficulty.
• Maintains and repairs aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics and fuel systems.
• Interprets blueprints and manuals to solve problems.
• Troubleshoots systems using system theory.
• Maintains working knowledge of technical publications.
