Job summary

Boeing in Alaska is seeking an Experienced F-22 Aircraft Mechanic at JBER, AK, to perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on F-22 systems. You’ll use T.O.s, blueprints, and manuals to work on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and engine subsystems.

Responsibilities include maintaining coatings, components and flight systems, interpreting manuals, and troubleshooting with system theory while supporting a first-shift schedule and COI, plus relocation if eligible.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with F-22 Low Observable Coatings.
• Experience with Low observable processes.
• Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical troubleshooting, repair procedures and part replacement.
• Familiar with aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators and micrometers.
• Willing to work variable shifts.

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced F-22 Aircraft Mechanic at JBER, AK.

In this role you will be responsible for performing maintenance repair and sustainment upgrades on F-22 systems and structures. You will utilize aircraft technical orders, publications, blueprints and drawings to perform a variety of maintenance actions on aircraft systems and sub systems including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and engines.

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintains, repairs, and modifies aircraft coating and associated equipment of varying difficulty
• Maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components
• Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting user documentation such as blueprints or manufacturers' manuals
• Will be using system theory to troubleshoot various systems
• Working knowledge of technical publications.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with F-22 Low Observable Coatings
• Experience with Low observable processes
• Must have a thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts,
• Must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience repairing, and servicing military fighter aircraft F-15, F-16, F-18, F-22, F-35
• 5+ years aircraft maintenance experience
• Experience drilling, cutting, and fabricating aircraft structural components

Summary Pay Range: $73,100 - $98,900
