Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced F-22 Aircraft Mechanic at JBER, AK. The role involves maintaining, repairing, and modifying coating and components on F-22 platforms, with emphasis on low observable systems and precision tooling.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of F-22 coatings experience and be able to work variable shifts. This position requires U.S. export control compliance and a U.S. Secret clearance, with relocation options considered for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience with F-22 Low Observable Coatings.
• Experience with Low observable processes.
• Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts.
• Thorough knowledge of aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers.
• Willing to work variable shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, repairs, and modifies aircraft coating and associated equipment of varying difficulty.
• Maintains and repairs aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
• Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting blueprints or manuals.
• Will be using system theory to troubleshoot various systems.
• Working knowledge of technical publications.
