Job summary

The Boeing Company at Langley AFB, VA, is seeking an F-22 Avionics Technician - Mod Tech C to perform maintenance, repair and upgrades on F-22 avionics and related systems. You will use technical orders, publications, blueprints and drawings to service electrical, hydraulic and mechanical subsystems.

Field Operations may require travel to diverse locations (CONUS and international) on short notice, relocation as needed, and compliance with deployment health standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of military aircraft maintenance experience.
• 1+ years of experience with avionics installation.
• 1+ years of experience with electrical/electronic troubleshooting, routing, splicing, connectors, bundle dressing, etc.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts.
• Must be willing and able to travel to multiple locations CONUS (plus Hawaii) with varying durations to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble systems components to support correcting failures or implementing changes.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
• Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components.
• Fabricate and modify aerospace products per specifications.
• Assist with safe handling of simple aerospace vehicle operations (jacking, towing, system operations).
• Work under supervision.
