Boeing Aerospace Operations (BGS) at Langley AFB, VA is seeking an F-22 Experienced Modification Avionics Electrician to perform maintenance, repair, and upgrades on F-22 avionics systems on site at Langley AFB, VA.

You will use TOs, publications, blueprints, and drawings to service electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and engine subsystems. Candidates must be willing to deploy domestically or internationally and relocate as required, with potential military deployment considerations.

Formación

• 1+ years of military aircraft maintenance experience.
• 1+ years of experience with avionics installation.
• 1+ years of experience with electrical/electronic troubleshooting, routing, splicing, connectors, bundle dressing, etc.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts.
• Willing and able to travel to a variety of locations (domestic; CONUS plus Hawaii) on short notice and relocate as required.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes.
• Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
• Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
• Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications.
• Assists with performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations).
• Works under supervision.
