A leading aerospace company is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to conduct inspections and maintenance on fighter aircraft. Responsibilities include training personnel, performing inspections, and ensuring compliance with technical orders. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in aircraft maintenance and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection tools, test stands, borescopes, maintenance platforms, aircraft jacks, technical publications, Microsoft Office.
Aircraft hangar and maintenance environment in a deployed setting. Exposure to flightline and shop hazards.
Standing, climbing, bending, and lifting; working on aircraft structures and systems in elevated or confined areas.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training in aircraft maintenance preferred.
Certifications: USAF 7-skill level (Craftsman) in Aircraft Maintenance
Experience: 8 to 8 to 8 to 10 years of experience conducting phase inspections on F-16 or similar fighter aircraft.
Other Requirements: U.S. Citizenship; eligible for Secret clearance; international experience preferred; deployable worldwide including to the Middle East.
Skills and Technology Used: Maintenance documentation systems, technical inspection tools, Microsoft Office, aircraft schematic interpretation.
