F-16 Hydraulics Mechanic - F-16 Contract Logistics Support (CLS) - Foreign Military Sales (IRAQ)

Join V2X Inc as an F-16 Hydraulics Mechanic supporting the F-16 Contract Logistics Support (CLS) for Foreign Military Sales in IRAQ.

Responsibilities

1. 30% - Train, advise, assist, and integrate IqAF personnel in hydraulic system diagnostics, servicing, and repair procedures.
2. 25% - Perform inspections and maintenance on hydraulic systems including flight controls, landing gear, brakes, nose wheel steering, and utility systems.
3. 15% - Test, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic lines, pumps, accumulators, actuators, and valves.
4. 10% - Ensure use of technical orders, schematics, and maintenance documentation and instruct IqAF accordingly.
5. 10% - Document all maintenance actions and maintain accurate historical records.
6. 5% - Recommend improvements in hydraulic maintenance procedures and component reliability.
7. 5% - Perform other duties as directed by Site Management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in hydraulic systems preferred.
• USAF 7-skill level (Craftsman) in Hydraulic Systems Maintenance.
• 8 to 10 years of experience maintaining F-16 or comparable fighter aircraft hydraulic systems.
• U.S. Citizenship, eligible for Secret clearance, and deployable to international locations including the Middle East.
• Experience with international teams preferred.
• Skills in hydraulic system troubleshooting, servicing, maintenance tracking software, and Microsoft Office.

• Work environment includes flightline and hydraulic maintenance shop settings, with exposure to hydraulic fluids, noise, and high-pressure systems.
