Job summary

Leidos seeks an experienced F-15 Mission Planning Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join a focused team of engineers and managers at the Eglin AFB, FL area. You will provide leadership as a Systems Engineer, guide product backlog efforts, and help shape mission planning solutions with a strong DoD focus.

The role supports agile product management and enterprise-wide processes, requiring active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Qualifications

F-15C/E/EX aircrew or mission planner experience at unit/wing/AOC level.
Active and current Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
BS degree or equivalent and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with customer representatives and engineers.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

Responsibilities

Serve as a SME and SE for F-15 Mission Planning software development.
Support Government PM, Agile Product Manager/Release Train Manager with the client stakeholders to the development team.
Create technical requirements backlogs, statements of work, and contract data requirements lists.
Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize product backlogs for sprints and releases.
Generate mission threads, use cases, and requirements packages with traceability.
Analyze software development metrics and recommend corrective actions.
Facilitate continuous learning to improve enterprise processes and report status to stakeholders.
Attend Product Owner Scrum meetings and participate in PI planning; support architecture and system definition.
