Job summary

Boeing Global Services is seeking an F-15 Flightline Weapons Loader Technician for an international assignment at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. This long-term role requires eligibility for a U.S. Security Clearance and the ability to relocate internationally for at least two years.

Responsibilities

• Document procedures to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
• Inspect weapons system for flight worthiness requirements.
• Load/unload munitions according to load configurations.
• Oversee on-the-job training.
• Support squadron operations as needed.
• Carry out Cross Utilization Training as required.

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an F-15 Flightline Weapons Loader Technicians to assist in our maintenance efforts at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.
This is a Long-Term Assignment to Qatar for a minimum of 2 years. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided. Ability to meet international assignment health requirements required. If accompanied, family must also meet international assignment health requirements.

Position Responsibilities to include (but are not limited to):

• Assemble, disassemble and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to accurate failures or implement changes


• Perform removal and installation of alternate mission/normally installed equipment, line replaceable units and functional/operational checkouts.


• Configure aircraft to match mission requirements


• Troubleshoot weapons system to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair/replace faulty components


• Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components


• Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications, and inspection results)


• Inspect weapons system for flight worthiness requirements


• Oversee on the job training


• Work under general direction


• Load/unload munitions and countermeasures in accordance with standard configuration load requirements


• Perform other duties as assigned in support of squadron operations


• Ability to carry out CUT (Cross Utilization Training) as required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship


• Minimum of 1 year of experience with fighter aircraft maintenance and/or management


• Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts


• Must be able to obtain local driver's license

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Knowledge of AFI 21-101


• Experience on USAF military fighter platforms (A-10, F-117, F-15, F-16, F-22, or F-35).


• Weapons loading and maintenance experience on the F-15


• Experience in Armament Backshop


• Completed Weapons 7-Level school

Ex-Pat Information:

• Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country.


• Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.


• Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country.


• Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned. These contingencies also apply to any/all family members who may be relocating with the candidate.
