Job summary

Cal State East Bay seeks a dedicated professional to manage F-1 student advising, SEVIS reporting, and related immigration services. You will serve as a DSO, provide guidance on visa requirements, and coordinate orientation and workshops for international students in a diverse campus community.

You will collaborate with the Center for International Education, IT, and admissions to ensure accurate documentation, timely updates, and seamless support for scholars and exchange students.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or related field (may substitute for experience).
• Experience in student services or counseling preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in diverse teams.
• Excellent cross-cultural communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) for F-1 students.
• Provide guidance on immigration status and benefits to students.
• Coordinate orientation and immigration workshops.
• Support international recruitment efforts.
