Eyeglass World, part of National Vision, seeks an Assistant Manager to run daily operations, coach a sales team, and ensure top-tier eye care and shopping experience. Sundays off, every Sunday closed, supporting work-life balance.

You will drive profit and sales, supervise optical staff, coordinate with doctors, and uphold promotions and visual standards across the store in Rockford, IL. National Vision offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in optical sales with leadership preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong understanding of store operations and standards.
• Excellent communication skills for managing teams.
• Ability to analyze financial reports and trends.
• Strong organizational skills for planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Drive and achieve profit, sales and performance goals according to National Vision standards.
• Monitor sales results against budgeted figures.
• Ensure all store associates provide the highest level of customer service.
• Maintain awareness of same-day service using Ready When Promised board.
• Communicate with General Manager, District Manager and Corporate Office.
• Develop good relationships with doctors associated with the store.
• Ensure promotions and visual merchandising are in place.
• Supervise and motivate Optician/Sales Associates.
• Assist in recruiting and retaining a high-caliber staff.
• Motivate staff to exceed performance standards.
• Duties may vary to meet licensing requirements.
