Job summary

National Vision, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to lead store optical operations and drive sales growth. You will supervise Opticians and sales staff, ensure quality customer service, and manage promotions and merchandising to meet targets.

You will partner with the General Manager and regional leadership to forecast staffing, review performance, and uphold company policies across the eyeglass department. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading optical retail teams and driving sales performance.
• Ability to coach and develop associates and build strong relationships.
• Strong understanding of store operations and performance standards.
• Excellent communication skills for managing teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (review the P&L).
• Oversee the eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and lead by example.
• Review quality standards, remakes, and enforce policies.
• Communicate with General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office; provide store reports.
• Ensure promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are in place and known by staff.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates and support staff.
• Assist the General Manager with staffing forecasts, recruitment and retention.
• Motivate staff to exceed performance standards.
• In some locations, licensing requirements may apply to certain duties.
