Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Eyewear Consultant to provide personalized eyecare and help patients see, look, and be their best. No optical experience? Training will be provided and a supportive team will guide you in learning products and benefits. Weekend/evening shifts may be required.

You will assist with frame/lens selection, explain insurance coverage, and contribute to sales and a superior patient experience. Growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing or sales-related position (Retail, Hospitality or Optical field preferred, but not required).
• Proactive problem-solving with an entrepreneurial spirit; eager to learn about industry, product, and services.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising their needs.
• Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection using product knowledge to educate on best fit.
• Consistently execute sales plans and office goals through a positive patient experience built on trust.
• Explain insurance benefits clearly to patients.
• Utilize training to fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses from a wide eyewear selection.
• Collaborate with the Office Optometrist to support patient needs and lens/frame selection.
• Work with doctors and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Promote MyEyeDr. values and brand during patient interactions.
