Job summary

LensCrafters in Lakewood, CA is looking for a Sales Associate to provide outstanding eye care and eyewear experiences for every customer. You will help patients select frames, apply prescriptions, and take precise measurements with optical tools, while coordinating with the on-site Optician.

You will join a team dedicated to quality service, training, and growth in a fast-paced retail environment, with opportunities for bonuses and advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers & calculators with basic phone and math skills.
• Embrace new technology & change with high level of accuracy.
• Ability to sell through use of sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
• Self-motivator with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales plan and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilize optical prescription to recommend specific lenses and coatings.
• Assist patients in frame selection and coordinate frames with measurements with the optician as needed.
• Conduct measurements using optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment and maintain professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and staff.
• Keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
