Vision Associates, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an Optical Dispenser to provide exceptional patient experiences through eyewear selection, accurate measurements, and precise fittings. You will work to establish the practice as the premier destination for vision care in the community.

You will collaborate with doctors and staff, handle the POS system, manage inventory, and uphold safety and attendance policies.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Active state optical licensure; must maintain license.
• Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Sales skills.
• Embraces new technology and change.

Responsibilities

• Custom fits glasses and places prescriptions in lenses with precision.
• Leads optical acumen and supports peers.
• Takes and records measurements; ensures eyewear meets standards.
• Asks open-ended questions to assess patient needs.
• Assists peers with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Maintains accurate patient information and secures assets.
