Job summary

Qualifications

High School Diploma required or equivalent.
One year of optician experience preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Familiarity with HIPAA requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings to fit needs and lifestyle.
Take and verify eye measurements; dispense glasses and adjust as needed.
Interpret prescriptions and create lab work orders for lens fabrication.
Ensure proper fit and comfort of eyewear; perform adjustments and minor repairs.
Explain lens options, pricing, warranties, and insurance coverage to patients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and display areas.
Provide exceptional service to encourage referrals and repeat visits.
