Job summary

Walman Optical, a division of EssilorLuxottica, seeks a Distribution Clerk (Inventory and Lens Order) to accurately enter material orders and select products for Rx and stock orders. Responsibilities include PO entry, vendor communications and cycle counts.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years in distribution, basic 10-key typing, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a distribution/logistics environment.
• High attention to detail and good reading, writing, and verbal communication.
• Basic use of laptop, keyboard and 10-key typing.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Key lens or frame PO requirements into computer for electronic transmission to vendors and fetch products from inventory for Rx/stock processing.
• Interpret reports on inventory levels, purchase orders, fill rates and related data.
• Perform cycle counts and periodic inventory.
