Job summary

Keplr Vision Stirling is seeking an Eyewear Consultant to ensure patients receive high-quality eyewear care and guidance. You will educate patients on frame options, assist with choices that meet medical and lifestyle needs, and support sales goals with compassionate, professional service.

Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions, managing inventory, and coordinating with physicians. Prior experience is welcomed but training is provided to the right candidate, with emphasis on customer

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and personal presentation are critical to this role.
• 0–3 years of experience are preferred.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Coachable—open to feedback and continual improvement.
• Flexible and adaptable.
• Professional phone and office etiquette required.
• Optical experience is preferred but not necessary—we will train the right person.

Responsibilities

General Job Description & Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that all patients are receiving the best quality of care at all times.

• Review Physician’s prescriptions and orders based on medical charts
• Educate patients on their corrective lens options and help them make a choice that fits their medical needs as well as lifestyle preferences
• Provide honest but compassionate feedback about aesthetic choices in frames
• Achieve sales goals and quotas as determined by office staff while attending to patients’ specific needs and desires
• Manage inventory of frames and contact lenses to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and product variety
• Communicate with physician with questions or concerns about prescriptions and other eye-related issues
• Perform adjustments and repairs of eyewear
• Place optical orders with a general understanding of insurance benefits

Experience & Skills
