Physicians Eyecare Group is seeking a Doctor Technician to deliver outstanding customer service at the store level and ensure a smooth transition between clinical services and retail teams. You will support patient care, promote products and coordinate with PEG physicians to maintain high-quality standards.

The role emphasizes patient experience, accuracy of records, and teamwork across clinical and retail staff, with opportunities for professional development and a competitive compensation plan.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients or customers.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible in a team environment.
• Strong communication with diverse groups of people.
• Associate degree or higher or currently enrolled in a related program.
• Schedule flexibility; hours determined by business needs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office tools.
• Optical industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and identify needs to ensure a memorable in-store experience and promote available products/services.
• Answer inquiries and gather information to facilitate sales.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; support management with patient issues and order statuses.
• Foster collaboration between retail and clinical teams.
• Maintain patient records in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
• Assist with basic lab duties including lens edging and repairs as needed.
• Ensure brand standards in store and lab areas and communicate equipment issues.
