Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Tissue Recovery Associate, FT with 40 hours per week, paying $25.30–$37.95 per hour. This position involves aseptic tissue recovery, donor handling, and record-keeping in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include lifting donors, transporting tissues, and ensuring proper labeling and shipping to the laboratory, under QA and managerial supervision.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; CTBS preferred.
• Associates degree or CTBS certification preferred.
• Experience with tissue handling and surgical asepsis is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performs aseptic recovery of tissue and maintains compliance with policies.
• Lifts and transports donors; applies sterile techniques.
• Collects blood samples from donors and labels/packages shipments.
• Maintains donor and tissue records under QA supervision.
