Grene Vision Group in El Dorado, KS seeks an Optometric Technician to support our clinical team. You will assist with patient flow and preliminary testing using optical equipment, helping prepare patients for exams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration or Healthcare Management
• Previous medical office experience preferred; optometric experience strongly preferred
• Minimum 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients
• Favorable result on background check as required by state
• Must provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow
• Assist the doctor in preliminary testing
• Verify medical and vision insurances
• Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and managers
• Answer inquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Embrace and execute Total Patient Experience to build relationships
• Greet patients promptly and thank them on departure
• Adhere to HIPAA and company policies
