Job summary

Now Optics d/b/a Stanton Optical seeks a Clinical Services Manager to supervise the store team and support clinical goals under the Clinical Operations Department. You will often act as the Manager on Duty to help achieve store goals and support operational and sales targets.

You will train Doctor Technicians on Diagnostic Pre-Testing, Local Mode and Digital Refraction, and ensure HIPAA-compliant patient records while maintaining clinical standards and brand integrity.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role.
• An associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care and a willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, and other basic office tools.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients entering the store and identify their needs to explain products and services.
• Drive sales to exceed revenue goals while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Resolve customer issues and improve satisfaction through troubleshooting and training.
• Provide supervision and guidance to Doctor Technicians on Diagnostic Pre-Testing, Local Mode and Digital Refraction, and contact lens care.
• Ensure training guidelines, procedures, protocols, and certification requirements are followed.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Uphold store brand standards and perform basic housekeeping duties.
• Coach Doctor Technicians and cross-trained staff on proper insertion/removal of contact lenses.
• Oversee protocols for patient contact lens orders and diagnostic lens inventory weekly.
