Open Eyes Vision Center in Frisco, TX seeks a reliable Medical Assistant to join our clinics. This role blends patient care with administrative support to ensure smooth operations and an excellent patient experience. Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays are required.

You will prepare exam rooms, assist doctors, record medical history, perform basic pre-tests, educate patients on eye care, and maintain accurate EHR records while greeting and guiding patients at check-in.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Medical Assistant certification (preferred, not required).
• Prior medical/optometry office experience (preferred; training provided).
• Excellent customer service, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.

Mansioni

• Prepare exam rooms and sanitize equipment.
• Escort patients, record medical history, and perform basic pre-tests.
• Educate patients on eye health and contact lens care.
• Assist doctors during exams and maintain accurate EHR records.
• Monitor and restock clinical supplies.
• Greet and assist patients at check-in.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Keep clinic and reception areas clean and welcoming.
