Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a part-time Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our Exam Practice, guiding patients through the first steps of their eye care journey with a human and bold approach.

You will handle preliminary testing support, patient handoffs to the OD, and day-to-day store operations to enhance the patient experience and meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and provide associates necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Execute daily ops to support exam lane maintenance and patient experience, including restocking, cleaning, and answering phones.
