EYE Specialists of Illinois SC is seeking an Ophthalmology Practice Manager to direct daily clinic operations, staffing, and regulatory compliance in Park Ridge, IL. You will balance business metrics with patient care, coordinating between ophthalmologists, technicians and administrative staff.

The role requires ongoing leadership, experience in ophthalmic workflows, and proficiency with PM & EHR systems. A COE or CMM credential is a plus, and a Monday–Friday work schedule supports work-life

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of healthcare management experience in ophthalmology or optometry preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field.
• Strong knowledge of ophthalmic workflows and insurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations and patient flow, optimize scheduling, and ensure high patient satisfaction.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor administrative and technical staff; conduct performance appraisals.
• Ensure HIPAA/OSHA/OIG compliance and maintain quality standards across clinical operations.
• Manage front-end revenue cycles, prevent denials, and coordinate billing and coding with Ophthalmic Billing & Coding Team.
