Job summary

VisionFirst Eye Care - St. Matthews is seeking a friendly, patient-focused team member to greet patients, prep them for exams, conduct pre-tests, and ensure every patient has a great experience. No two days look the same as you help maintain smooth patient flow in a busy practice.

No prior optometry experience is required, but a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable team player is essential. We offer training, a strong community focus, and generous benefits including PTO, ESOP and 401k,

Qualifications

• Friendly, people-first personality.

• Team player who is dependable and takes ownership.
• Prior optometry or medical office experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic equipment and perform preliminary testing.
• Prepare patients for their eye exams by performing medical history intake.
• Guide patients through their visit with warmth and professionalism.
• Keep patient records accurate and up to date.
• Assist with various in-office procedures that ensure organized and efficient patient flow.
