Job summary

VisionFirst Eye Care is seeking an energetic teammate to join our Louisville area practice. You’ll greet patients, prep them for exams, perform pre-tests, and help ensure a great patient experience from start to finish.

You’ll work with diagnostic equipment, collect medical histories, and guide patients through visits with warmth and professionalism. Prior optometry or medical office experience is a plus, but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Prior optometry or medical office experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic equipment and perform preliminary testing.
• Prepare patients for their eye exams by performing medical history intake.
• Guide patients through their visit with warmth and professionalism.
• Keep patient records accurate and up to date.
• Assist with various in-office procedures that ensure organized and efficient patient flow.
