Job summary

VisionFirst Eye Care - Salem is seeking a friendly, patient-focused team member to enhance our patient experience. You will greet patients, prep exam rooms, and perform pre-tests to help ensure each visit runs smoothly.

As part of the on-site team, you will use diagnostic equipment, collect medical history, and maintain accurate records while supporting in-office procedures. We’ll train the right person and offer growth in a community-focused practice.

Qualifications

• Friendly, people-first demeanor.
• Detail-oriented and organized under pressure.
• Team player who takes ownership and is dependable.
• Prior optometry or medical office experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and coordinate their arrival.
• Prepare patients for exams by taking medical history and setting up exam rooms.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and conduct preliminary testing.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Assist with in-office procedures to ensure smooth patient flow.
